from Popular Singer/Author
|
(Nashville,
TN)-- Five songs from singer/author/speaker Ginger Millermon's
AMAZED CD
will be offered as free download resources for the new online
community for women, Prayergates.com. Based around excerpts from
Beth Moore's best-selling book
Praying
God's Word, Prayergates.com has partnered with Lifeway
Worship to offer free resources that fit the "theme" of each month's
chapter study.
"I am so honored to have my songs be used alongside Beth Moore's
book," says Millermon. "My hope is that these songs will serve as
comfort and encouragement to all the women involved with
PrayerGates.com."
One of the five songs to be featured will be "Speak Peace" which
climbed to # 9 on the national Inspirational radio charts. Three
songs from Millermon's critically-acclaimed CD became top 10 hits,
and all five of the songs chosen by PrayerGates.com were either
written or co-written by Millermon.
In addition to her CD, Millermon also released a book entitled,
Grace
Thus Far, which details the story of her twin son Jarrot's
fight for life. Millermon has been featured on various radio and
television shows and networks including
The 700 Club, Focus on the Family's
Weekend Magazine radio show,
LeSea television network,
American Family Radio network,
Daystar tv network, among
many others.
Millermon was told by doctors that her twin son born at 30 weeks
would not survive and was given the option of taking him off life
support. Ginger and her husband Joel refused. Today, their son is a
thriving teenager who has amazed his doctors. Ginger is a staunch
pro-life advocate, working with organizations such as Vitae and
World Vision.
Grace
Thus Far details the painful years of struggle and sacrifice
the Millermons have endured, including journal entries made by
Ginger during the most difficult moments. Carl Landwehr, President
of Vitae Caring Foundation says: "Ginger's story conveys a message
of hope and optimism. It compels the reader to never give up on
God's plan. It will further motivate readers to see the value and
sanctity of all human life when our society is much too ready to
'toss aside' babies who may not be perfect according to society's
standards."
Ginger,
her husband Joel, added to their family of five recently by adopting
a little girl from India. Millermon is currently in the studio
working on her next CD which is set to release in early 2010. For
