Focus on the Family
 Weekend Magazine Show
 to Feature
 Singer/Songwriter Ginger
 Millermon in January

For Immediate Release (Nashville, TN)-- Focus on the Family's Weekend Magazine radio show will feature singer/songwriter Ginger Millermon each weekend during January 2008.  Millermon recently shared the story of her son Jarrott's fight for life with Yvette Maher, Vice-President for Sanctity of Human Life for Focus on the Family.

Millermon was told by doctors that her twin son born at 30 weeks would not survive and was given the option of taking him off life support. Ginger and her husband Joel refused.  Today, their son is a thriving pre-teen who has amazed his doctors. Ginger is a staunch pro-life advocate, working with organizations such as Vitae and World Vision. Ginger's new CD entitled AMAZED has already produced a top 6 radio single on the national Inspirational chart, as well as landing in Christian Radio Weekly's top 100 Inspirational Songs of 2007. Her story will be detailed in an upcoming book entitled Grace Thus Far (February 2008)

"I feel so privileged to be part of the Weekend Magazine broadcast," says Millermon. "Focus on the Family is known worldwide as an organization that believes and supports the sanctity of life and I appreciate all their efforts on behalf of unborn babies."

Weekend Magazine is a weekly 1-hour broadcast that is designed to provide practical advice & encouragement to "soccer moms" and busy families.  The show, hosted by psychologist Dr. Bill Maier, offers stories that address marriage and parenting concerns, health and financial issues, and even a weekly movie review. This broadcast airs on approximately 750 radio stations in the U.S. and Canada, with an estimated listenership of 550,000.
